When i was lookigninto this originally, I found other companies out there that make the same product that will work across the internet as well and support *ALL* files (including the registry). It is basically a poor mans alternative to an ad-hoc, albeit manual clustering service. I alos use it for the home directories as well. This way if my primary server takes a dive, they click on a netowrk share and get all of the same goodies and they are up to date. If your user base doesn't chang emuch (as mine does with a relatively stable company size), the registry databse has not caused me a problem.
