You're absolutely right Rod,

The only time I personally 'look' into the range of ip's to block is if the
mail was not generated from mass usage email servers like hotmail.com
yahoo.com aol.com msn.com.. etc etc.. Now email from places like
salliespornoshop.com or youllmortageyourhouse4ever.net that was generated
somewhere from Iraq or turkey really isn't of any use to any of our small 20
or so companies.  If I elect to ban the whole class "A" from either Iraq or
Turkey.. none of our companies would be adversely effected - ever.

As you probably already know.. many United States born spam/porno shops have
taken there service overseas to avoid and US laws/regulations.  Because of
such actions.. spammers frequently 'change' providers once blocked... I'm
seeing a flux about every 3 months in the change of the ip address (ranges)
from original spammers..

vigilance.. IMGate/Declude.. etc.. is the only way to go..
