John, that was part of the problem. In the Imail admin under localhost the host name was ppiserv01.ppidomain but on the old imail server it was peake.com. Daniel and crew pointed this out and after I changed it and deleted the key in the registry it was fine.

Webmail was weird and it took a new download from Ipswitch and a re-install to clear it up.

I'll let it run for a while with the standard template and now that I have more server HP I can replace the classic with killer.

Chris

r domain.

Having a different official host name in Imail different than that of the
actual server can lead to problems, although I do not know if what you are
experiencing is directly related to this.

I have tried to help a occasional client of ours who runs an Imail server
with the official host name in Imail different than that of the FQDN of the
actual server and how it is causing problems.

While NT 4.0 is a little forgiving on this, it becomes critical in a Windows
2000 AD domain.
