    I finally got it to where I can send a message from my workstation
    to the server and I can see the status of another user connected
    to the server.

    I had to open TCP incoming to 5177 on the server
             open TCP outgoing to 5178 from the server

    Then on my workstation I had to open incoming 5178
    and I had to add to the Registry:
        a DWORD vale at
        HKLM\Software\Ipswitch\Messenger\Settings\Client Uses Nat = 1

    But I still haven't been able to get my other test client working.

    I'm using the IMAIL server database.

    Seems pretty nice if I can ever get all the settings to actually
    let me make it talk.

    Haven't got to that point yet.

best wishes -
