1. ban all 2. permit TCP port 25 (smtp) both directions
smtp: in to tcp/25, out on >tcp/1024
3. permit TCP port 110 (pop) both directions
in on tcp/110, Imail doesn't do pop client afaik
4. permit port TCP 53 (dns) bot5h directions
in on udp/tcp 53, out on udp/tcp > 1024
After assigning the policy the server could not do DNS lookups and delivery of mails outside the domain failed.
both clients ask the OS for any available unprivileged port, which you have not opened, so both clients fail.
