KM> 4 Drives Raid 0+1 for Mail Boxes only
KM> 2 Drives Raid 0 For OS/Programs
KM> 1 Drive for spool and logfiles

KM> Does this look correct?

"Correct" is certainly subjective, since we don't know your budget and
more spindles will certainly bring more performance.

You want to dedicate as many dedicated spindles as possible to the
following core areas, and in my opinion there should be no
non-fault-tolerant arrays, RAID 0+1 or RAID 1 only.

-System

-IMail EXEs

-Logs

-Domain top directory(ies)

-Spool

-Web spool

-OS

-Swapfile(s)

If you have to double up functions within physical arrays (and I
presume you will for budgetary reasons), you should still separate the
functions onto logical volumes and rightsize the file allocation units
for each type of storage: the spool and web spool like smaller FAUs,
for example, while swapfile and mailbox drives like larger.
