Heres a couple of lines in my logs:
20030306 101018 127.0.0.1 SMTPD
(245D013E) [int nat ip address] connect 63.144.247.13 port 2631
20030306 101019 127.0.0.1 SMTPD (245D013E) [63.144.247.13] EHLO fl-nked-ubr2-c5a-2.dad.adelphia.net Its my understanding the first line tells me where the connection came
from. In this case its 63.144.247.13 port 2631. Heres the problem
63.144.247.13 is camteq.net (ip of my domain). Shouldnt
the ip read 24.53.194.2 which is were I made the connection
from. Am I reading this wrong or is something not setup correctly.
Imail server sits behind a linux firewall doing nat and port
forwarding. I dont think it could be a nat problem because other
services like IIS show the correct connecting ip address. Any
ideas? Thanks in advance.
