Interesting, running Imail 7.14 and KillerWebMail I have tried testing the
problem by sending a .bmp, .pdf, .jpeg, and .ps to the web mail. Same MUA
as I am using for this reply. I have no probs opening attachments with
Mozilla 1.1-linux, Mozilla 1.2.1-win32, or IE5.5

Here are the mime-types my MUA gave to the attachments:

[ubr900.ps application/postscript (260412 bytes)]
[LOGO.bmp application/octet-stream (579568 bytes)]
[LaTexTut.pdf application/pdf (1174546 bytes)]
[2002.1_480x480.jpeg image/jpeg (74351 bytes)]

Here is how webmail describes them:

ubr900.ps (Binary attachment)
LOGO.bmp (Binary attachment)
LaTexTut.pdf (Binary attachment)
2002.1_480x480.jpeg (Binary attachment)

So there is an example where things are working. Maybe it will help you.
Or is this problem intermittent and I just haven't been (un)lucky enough
to reproduce it?

My only gripe so far with the Killer webmail is it occaisonally complains
about upgrading to IE6 regardless of whether the browser is IE5.5, NS7,
Mozilla-1.x, etc. It is not feasable to upgrade many of our older
machines to that, and lots of our users prefer NS4.x.

Good luck,
