Hi,

For my new mailserver I am thinking I want to use a clone machine and not an
A-brand. Of course the components are going to be A-brand. One of the parts
is going to be an Asus mainboard for a dual Xenon setup. The one board I
have found that seems promising is the PR-DLS533 however.....

Not only can I use two Xenon processors, I also seem to have 2 LAN
inteterfaces, both at GIGABIT speed!!! A bit of an overkill wouldn't you
say? Also according to Asus both interfaces have different Intel chipsets.
Regarding the discussion we have had in this forum about Gigabit LAN
interfaces I need to be sure this will not be a problem.

>From the Asus site:
http://www.asus.com/prog/spec.asp?m=PR-DLS533&langs=01
[....]
1 x Intel 82540 Gigabit Ethernet controller
(optional Intel 82551 Fast Ethernet controller)
1 x Intel 82544 Gigabit Ethernet controller

Does anybody have experience with this board, do I need to be concerned
about something? Does anybody know wheter these chipsets are going to be a
problem?
