We use CDONTS for all our form mail scripts, even when the same domain is using IMail for all it's email.  They do work well, though we had to change the Incoming Connections TCP Port settings for Default SMTP Site under IIS to 26 and retain the Outgoing Connections TCP Port to 25.

It works well for us.

Good Luck.

If you’re using .NET, there is a .NET component that writes straight to the imail spool..  I use it to mail out my mailing lists and it’s very cool..

Subject: [IMail Forum] IMail Server 8 and ASP Form Scripts

Has anyone found a solution to using a ASP script to email form results when IMail server is installed?

I was using a script that made a call to CDONTS (which requires MS SMTP Service).  IMail and CDONTS do not work well together (if at all) and I need a solution badly.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
