All,

Thanks for your input!

I have temporarily disabled Interscan whilst I
evaluate the performance of Imail's antispam
offerings. Working fine now.

Regarding Interscan & open relays - yes, I agree.
I have an external firewall with an SMTP proxy
which is acting as our anti-relay mechanism. I
have also configured Imail to only relay for trusted
IP addresses - the combo of the fw & interscan & Imail
has worked well in the past.

Because I strip all hostile attachments at the fw,
Interscan rarely gets anything worth scanning. Found
maybe 9 virii in the last 70,000 messages received, so
I can risk disabling it for while.

On other topics - I found the fiveten RBL to be a little
too rabid in quarrantining spam - anyone wish to share
their list of usable RBL servers? By usable I mean
not bouncing everything from yahoo, or our customers!!!

Thanks,

AJ
