The official name is different because it's peered with another host which
uses the actual domain name as the official host. I wanted to make sure I
didn't create a conflict in names for peering (where they recommend using the
actual domain name for the host alias instead of the official name).
Can somebody confirm that it will work in the reverse? I want to make sure
that I'm not getting an undeliverable message if the user can't be found on
that particular server.
i.e.:
ServerA...
Official hostname: domain.com
Alias: mail1.domain.com
ServerB...
Official hostname: domain.com
Alias: mail2.domain.com
Thanks.
