Question: We had the same problem in 8.0 and had to revert to 7.15. But with 8.01 we have not experienced that issue. How is your spool folder looking? William Answer: Under 8.01 the spool folder only had about 30 messages queued. The messages themselves were small in size (~30 KB). How long have you been running 8.01...more than 2 weeks? Are you seeing any time dependencies? We're running on a Dell 2450 server with a 600 MHz Pentium processor which worked just fine for 7.15. Does 8.01 require more horsepower? We asked Ipswitch technical support the same question, but they would not specify/recommend anything...very non-committal. Question: Have you looked at the logs for the time when it is using 100% cpu to see what it's doing at that time? Any chance you have some users with extremely large mailboxes? Did you apply 8.01 HF1? Tripp Answer: Yes, we have looked at the logs during the times of 100% CPU usage, but it looks like it is performing normal processing. We, also, applied HF1 along with the Ipswitch updated anti-spam files (content, domain, etc. from their web site). Many thanks!
