We have the nasty ports blocked at the firewall, but I would like
to just turn them off at our server as well - nt 4.0. I followed
the ipswitch checklist for 7.15, made sure to leave open dns etc.

But when i turn the blocking on, mail can come in, users can
login, web messaging works, but no mail gets delivered.

In the logs, it looks like imail wants to connect to itself or
outgoing mail by random ports above 1024 (or thereabouts).

Did I set something wrong? Is this doable? Does running declude
add anything to the mix? Has anyone been able to do this on an NT
box - turn off all but the needed ports?

Thanks
