R> It appears Symantec loves to use the NIC/Drivers excuse for pcanywhere R> problems and IPSWITCH does the same for IMAIL.
It was Ipswitch's stock response for a lot of our problems. R> Problem is, many people use the industry standard 3com 905 or Intel Pro 100 R> cards in their system with the latest drivers, thus the excuse doesn't hold R> water. Yep. R> Has IPSWITCH ever put out a list of NIC/Drivers that they guarantee to work R> to stop the bs excuse? I asked them 2 years ago to give me a Hardware Compatibility List if their hardware didn't work with industry standard hardware. I got a deafening silence R> If not, why? Because it will not allow them to use their catch all solution? Yep, always easier to blame it on someone else. R> Either they should have a list of known good NIC's or they should not use R> that as an excuse, imo. All this leads me to a question I asked a few weeks ago and never got a response. Anyone using 8.x got the "it's your NIC" excuse? Or could this be a pleasantly undocumented fix in 8. -- Best regards, David mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
