I'm having the same problem. Only it's not only with Hotmail. I have an Imail server setup to use the same DNS Servers that the computer is using (my external cache servers provided by my provider). When I do nslookups on everything from the computer, from dnstools, etc. everything is correct, yet Imail is not using the valid MX IPs. I have gone through group and found a few things, but nothing seems to make it better. I have removed all but one DNS entry in my SMTP Tab, I have tried changing DNS Servers, The only thing I haven't done, is add the domain to the Host file, because I don't think this is a proper fix.
