More information: I configured to run just one Imail AntiSpam test, HELO check. Configured to use my DNS server that is authoritive and primary for the zone, eservicesforyou.com. Sent a test message from me to a test user on that server. Attached are 2 screen shots of NetMonitor showing the DNS querry and the DNS answer. Note in the answer the correct information is returned within 1/100 of a second. However, another 30 seconds later, Imail SMTP sends out another querry for the same information and receives the same correct answer. But then this shows up in the log: 2003-09-22 17:47:35 SMTPD (00050162) [00001676] <NT0.dblhomes.com> VALIDATION: (HELO) NT0.dblhomes.com FAILED to receive response from DNS server for HELO domain mail.eservicesforyou.com So, Imail SMTP is sending the query, but is not processing the answer.
