Env: IMail 8.03 Pro/IMail AV 1.01/Win2k SP4 This problem occured twice for unknown reasons...
Emails just started to get stuck in the queue then users had bounce mails, legit mails started bouncing back as undeliverable having a message that says "No message body:..." (see below) --- From: postmaster.. To: ... Subject: Undeliverable mail No message body: user(at)mail.example.com Original message follows. ---- I scanned the logs for error messges and found this particular entry appearing multiple times for a span of 2 hours within the log: --- 10:16 08:24 SMTP-(04C02382) Error from Virus scan server, code = 2 --- I had to cleanup the spool and restart the server to fix the problem.
