I have a mail server that is being hammered by spam and have been using declude to keep my head above water. Recently things have gotten worse and I have found about 12 ip ranges that seem to be the major ones responsible for my spam. In declude there is an option to create your own custom rule to read your own black list, has anyone done this? can you provide me with an exmple of what to put in the globalcfg file?
You can create an IP blacklist in Declude JunkMail (the manual has instructions), but in this case I would recommend using the IMail SMTP Control Access file. That will prevent those servers from even talking to IMail, which will help improve bandwidth usage in this case.
