are you a mailing list administrator of IMail 8.0x? Would you please do me a great favour? Please:
1. Send the command "list listname" to your list-server ([EMAIL PROTECTED]).
What does your list-server return? User names and e-mail addresses or e-mail addresses only? (User's guide 8.01 says on page 227 it should return both, user names and e-mail addresses.)
2. Add yourself as a new user in the web interface (!) of a mailing list. Use the format Your Name [EMAIL PROTECTED] exactly as it's entered in your mail client. (My experience says that the usage of any brackets doesn't matter.) My web interface of IMail accepts it and shows me in the user adress list as "Anselm.Rapp" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. Send a mail to your list.
What happens? My list-server replies: "Article rejected, un-authorized poster of [EMAIL PROTECTED]". Do you succeed in it without of an error message?
As more mailing list administrators will do these little tests for me, as better I'll know, if it are individual problems of my configuration or general problems of IMail.
