Hi
I'm using IMAIL 7.15 as a primary mail server for about 80 domains and I
want to configure an IIS5 box to act as a backup mail server (my idea is to
just have the mail hosts as virtual under the local with forwarding onto
respective on the imail box when re available).
IIS *appears* to contain a couple of relay flaws, namely with certain
formations of address. Basically I want to be able to stop relaying for the
local host (qualified name or IP address) and only relay for the virtuals,
also want to be able to filter the % symbol in mail address prefixes and not
relay a message containing one. I have picked up an IIS meta-editor and was
hoping I could make some hacks to the metabase, if anyone can let me know if
I am on the right track then that would be cool. Excuse me if this has been
discussed before, I have made an attempt at finding a solution ( if there is
one) but a few of you on this list seem pretty knowledgable and would
appreciate any pointers/advice if you have the time.

cheers now
