Try turning off the Monitor as well. We had trouble with the iMonitor forgetting to close calls.

I have looked through the archives and seen articles on this happening with linksys network cards but server that we using is a brand new Compaq dl580 with Compaq network cards so I doubt that it is this. The bluescreen message was nicely generic and generally of no use at all and when the POP3 service has hung it has been under relatively light loading. I have also seen an article suggesting it could be to do with there being a bottle neck to the sql server but I doubt this was the problem as the loading was light and the sql server is on a massive cluster and was bearly ticking over at the time. Anyone got any suggestions on where to start looking?
