We have had alot of users complain about undeliverable mail notifications for peopel that they regularly send email to.
The log file shows many 10054 errors.
I think my ISP may be having DNS issues.
Would the above be indicative of DNS issues ?
No, DNS issues should not cause that. The 10054 occurs when the remote mailserver disconnects unexpectedly. The most common cause for these for incoming mail is from mailservers that are sending out spam. For outgoing mail, the most common reason is that the remote mailserver has problems.
