Imgate is already dumping around 4-5k of messages everyday which are rejected based on the rules.
That's a tiny number for 60K accounts, assuming an avg of one legit inbound mail per 60K accounts, you should be rejecting 180K to 300K inbound msgs, if your domains see spam like big ISP domains in USA see it.
The network traffic on this new box is a mystery even with all the mail in queue it still could be standing there doing nothing...
Using spoolviewer from Horizon I saw that it several times was receving 0 mails doin a flush got it going for a while but still
after around 20 - 25 minutes it looked like the same.
well, you're just showing yourself that it's broken
And even at the time right after a flush I got only 1,5 % use on the nic, but the nic is working doing a copy paste of 25gb of data
and around 180 000 files it took only 50 minutes to copy the mailboxes from one server to the other, using around 70% of the
bandwith.
The problem is not the network or NIC b/w, the problem is inside Imail.
If Ipswitch can't fix that pb, then the tuning and tweaking I gave you should allow IMGate shield IMail from big bad Internet and help Imail stumble along until Ipswitch does fix it.
( I really think the ONLY company that can really write Windows software reliably and have it work through OS upgrades, and work best on the Windows platform is ... Microsoft. Everybody else is severely disadvantaged competing against MS software on MS's platforms. This is 15-year-old news.)
