when it delivers it looks up the domain e.g mail.mydomain.com and gets the public IPaddress which is no good to your mail server as it is the wrong side of the firewall. If you put an entry in the hosts file for mail.mydomain.com pointing to the internal ip address you may get some results.   for win NT, 2k etc the hosts file can usually be found in c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts   NB there is no file extension for the hosts file make sure that when you save it back (using notepad or what ever) that no file extension is appended.   Pat Hastings -----Original Message----- From: Delfo [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 19 November 2003 13:13 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [IMail Forum] NAT   Hi all,   I need configure IMail 7.07 but in this moment I haven’t a domain and I’m using my IP: I have public IP (external) and my private IP (internal) and in this moment I can send mail but I can’t received and I don’t understand because doen’t work.
