I'm  going  to play the contrarian here and say that you shouldn't use
DNS unless you're really p'd-o and don't mind losing the client (which
depends,  most  likely,  on how late they are). DNS is not only highly
disruptive  and  embarrassing,  but  also  requires  you have to be in
control of their nameservers, which may not always be the case.

My first suggestion would be, along Todd's lines, to lock out the POP3
and  IWEBMSG  services'  access  to your user database; if you use the
IMail  database,  this is as simple as a Registry ACL. This way, their
MUA will not function, but delivery will still occur.
