I'm using greylisting (<http://projects.puremagic.com/greylisting/>) on my sendmail server and a client using IMail is getting a bounce from the initial tempfail response. Is this normal IMail behavior or a misconfiguration?
Can someone running IMail verify that a message sent to me gets an initial bounce followed by successful delivery? Just put "greylist test" in the subject line so I'll recognize it. I believe sendmail won't complain about repeated tempfails until several hours worth of retries have been attempted.
