I’m getting access denied sending email to various hosts, but I’m not on any blacklists and not an open relay. This is the log snippet:
SMTP (00DA0002) [x] Connecting socket to service <SMTP> on host <netzero.net> using protocol <tcp> SMTP (00DA0002) [x] using source IP for mail.domain.com [192.168.0.5] SMTP (00DA0002) Info - Found netzero.net in DNS Cache SMTP (00DA0002) Connect netzero.net [64.136.28.83:25] (1) SMTP (00DA0002) 550 Access denied...1fd94df0a970a17929fdc9d0c9652da43135384579c1340485edf4ed9489dd54f46d4040897d... SMTP (00DA0002) SMTP_DELIV_FAILED SMTP (00DA0002) >QUIT
Is it the private IP that’s killing me or the fact that the public one is dynamically assigned? I’m publishing the SMTP service using ISA Server.
