Has anyone tried sending mail to a large group alias? I tried to BCC a group alias with 4000 addresses. So far the outgoing mail just sits in the queue for about an hour (no activity in the log other than "processing ......SMD").
I need to use a group alias because the email has to have a specific FROM address and the listserv option changes the FROM address. I also need to BCC so the individual recipients do not know the name of the group alias. When I "View Queue" from the IMail Administrator, all 4000 email addresses show up sorted alphabetically, so whatever initial sort IMail does has occurred. Using IMail v8.04 Any help appreciated.
