Hi All,

    I think that I have to explain my case more, as there are some issues you need to know (forgive me for not doing so from the first, as I can't know the reasons for the problem):

 

- My company has decided to offer the clients the ability to create their own domains. These domains are not real domains, but subdomains from our real domains.

Example: we have the domain mycommail.com, and I give them the ability to create the domain xyz.mycommail.com, and then create their email accounts on this domain, for example : [EMAIL PROTECTED].

- This offer has increased the number of domains on my mail server with about 6000 domains in 15 days.

- In this offer also we offer the mailbox for 50 MB, and attchment size 3 MB.

- I have found today that some users has reached their maximum mail box size in this short period.

 

What I have Done:

- I have deleted all the email accounts that have mail box size greater than 20 MB

- I have defragted my hard drive.

- I got sure that "Keep alive" is disabled.

- I'm customizing the final version of the standard templates, as my runing web template is customized on version 7.13

 

But I still face the same problem (100% CPU usage)

 

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Now, I restarted it, and I'll stop the iwebmsg service, and I'll try to defrage the hard drive.

Have you checked the fragmentation on it?

 

Have you checked hard drive performance?

 

Do not just dismiss an idea unless you post that you have checked that.

No Kathy, It's disabled.

IPSwitch told me that I need to def rage my hard disk, but I see that this solution is not realistic. Now, I'm trying Shad's suggestion.

 

Any other suggestions are welcomed.

In speaking with Ipswitch, and referring to their database, if you have �keep alive� set in the web msging properties, it will suck up CPU usage.   Disable it.  Solved my issues.

Make sure you are using the latest version of the templates..  If you are using an older version of the templates, that will do it..  I had the same problem..  I took the latest templates and re-customized them and presto, everything started working again..

Hi, I have sent this mesg before, but i'm not sure that it has been arrived to all of you.    I'm running Imail 8.05 and the iwebmsg service hogs up the cpu usage (100%). I know that this issue has been resolved in version 8.04, but I'm facing it. I'm using customized web templates. Is this could be the reason - knowing that I'm using these templates from one year and there are no problems? Can you help me please? This is very urgent for us. Thanks in advance
