For the sake of this reading, my example old hostname is
mail.edmonddantes.com. The new example hostname is
mail.cntofmntecristo.com

I used an Imail article recently to change the official hostname of my
domain (article # IM-19991007-DM01). The article stated I must enter
the Registry (HKLM/Software/Ipswitch/IMail/Domains) and change the
"Official" value from mail.edmondantes.com to mail.cntofmntecristo.com.
I did that.

Next I had to change the key that reads mail.edmonddantes.com to
mail.cntofmntecristo.com. When I did, I received an error that said
"The Specified Key Name Already Exists." Yet there is no key in this
area that reads "mail.cntofmntecristo.com". The new hostname doesn't
appear in there at all.

It's important to us because mail.edmonddantes.com doesn't match the MX
record name assigned (mail.cntofmntecristo.com). While this is not an
issue for clients on the network, anyone who logs into the Webmail
service and attempts to send an attachment is subject to having a
reverse lookup performed, and the reverse lookup doesn't agree with the
prescribed hostname.

I'm using Imail Server 8.04. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
