I'm trying to setup a fault-tolerant FTP service. The DSL connection between the clients and the server periodically suffers scheduled disconnections by the provider. In a test setup I've installed WS-FTP Pro and WS_FTP Server. I'll start a multi-file transfer and unplug the connection mid-stream. I let the client retry several times and then I plug the wire back in. The file transfer resumes and finishes with success, however the file whose transfer was interrupted is incomplete. Have I misunderstood the capabilites of this product? (no need to press the point that I may have misunderstood my capabilities, that's entirely possible).
