I have an Administrator who wants to rename userid's, ie. Maiden name to married name, etc. I saw a post previously related to this. Has anything changed to allow this since we are running 8.05 now? Thanks in advanced for any tips.

The second method (not a hack, IMO) would certainly be recommended for future manageability, plus a temporary alias for the old ID pointing to the new one. > I would think you could do something like right-click on the userID to > change it, or am I missing something staring me in the face? You can't do this when using the IMail default database, essentially because the Win32 API does not support the necessary rename as a one-step process. It could be added, certainly, but has never been a priority. -Sandy End Paste To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
