I have played around with Network Cards in my Imail server and some of the other servers. I have tried "Server Based" 3Com Cards per Ipswitch Tech Support, Intel, and others and have found the best one for my case was using the 3com 3c905tx workstation card. I have watched all the performance and problems with sniffer pro and some other network work monitoring tools. Had all kinds of problems with the mail server till I installed the 3c905tx.

Or will there be an overall better performance no matter what - even if it's hard to see all of the time? I am interested to see what you all have upgraded to and how it has worked out for you. I would be doing this on my mail servers, dns servers, web servers to add some performance enhancements.
