Hi: I'm working on closing some more ports to my imail servers, in efforts to make them more stable.
I've checked the ipswitch KB, and I started by blocking everything except that list, but seems there is a port that has to be open, somewhere between 2800 and 2900, else Imail cannot deliver. I checked the archives here, but couldn't find anything. What am I missing? Thanks Tom Ports left open 25 - SMTP 53 - DNS 110 - POP3 3389 - terminal services 8000 & 8001 (Both UDP) - IWebMsg, IWebCal 8383 - IWebMsg 8385 - Spell Checker 8484 - IWebCal Error in SMTP log looks like this: 01:29 10:42 SMTP-(04740008) Trying domainname.com (0) 01:29 10:43 SMTP-(04740008) MX connect fail "216.26.X.X" 01:29 10:43 SMTP-(04740008) requeuing M:\IMail\spool\Q29f50057004e6c65.SMD R0 T1 When I open that range, 2800 - 2900 it delivers fine.
