How does one get the log files saved to a different FOLDER on the same
drive or to a different drive letter on the same machine (network mapped
drive)?

All I can find is info on using syslogd on another machine, not how to get
syslogd to save somewhere other than the spool folder.

Unfortunately, using syslogd is the only method to do it (AFAIK).
