Use domain rules with caution.
David, I'm not sure the above is true; for example, I am using user-level rules with mxGuard that are definitely overriding the domain level rules I set up for LEVEL10 and LEVEL20 mxGuard header inserts for spam... in my case, i have a user level rule that puts LEVEL10's in a SPAM folder and LEVEL20 or higher into a "superspam" folder... the domain level rule puts level 10 or higher into the spam folder. This is with iMail 7.x though... Just curious!
