I am trying to block mail with subject of only "hi" so I added this rule:
S=hi:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
That will block any E-mail with "hi" in this subject, including "This is a subject".
So tried:
S=\shi\s:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
This doesn't block anything but " hi "
Correct.
Thought this should be a no brainer. Can anyone help a newbee?
Also looking to block "Hi" and "HI" at the same time.
This is just an inherent flaw with filters. They are designed to detect strings of characters, but you are looking for one that understands language (specifically where one word ends and another begins). That goes beyond the scope of standard filtering. I'm not aware of any tools for IMail that would let you accomplish that.
