Well, then, what *did* it do? :)


If you post all the log file entries, we can take a look at 'em.

that's my concern, it seems like I have to point this domain to the
dz1.hyatt.com on the host file on windows.

Once you've done that, unfortunately, the log files will not show the information you need. You need to remove the HOSTS file entry, and then check the log file entries.


and then if they change the IP IMail will still going to the ip I set up in
the host record.

That's why HOSTS file entries are a last resort, to get mail to people that *must* receive it, even if they aren't set up to be able to receive mail.
