I've extracted the exchange below from our Imail logs showing a 554 rejection I believe is from the remote mail server.
Our Imail server is behind a Raptor firewall which redirects the public IP (209.177.135.101) for horizonint.com to the internal machine. If I read the log correctly, the IP address being used for horizonint.com is our internal address, not the public one. I just upgraded Imail this weekend from 7.13 to 8.05HF2. Is this my problem? Have I got something misconfigured? Thanks for your help. Here is a sample of my SMTP Delivery Errors. Is there anything I can do to stop mailservers from attempting to guess domain accounts? Is there a proper way to automatically bounce this message back to the sender, so they get the message NOT to resend. I mean, what kind of moron sends an email 583 times to an account that doesn't, nor ever existed?
