I was told by a tech at Ipswitch that Symantec had to release a new engine
for CarrierScan. Is that what you mean? Where might I get the update?

Are you referring to NAVIEG (their mail gateway product)?  I believe 
someone posted here that they already have a version that blocks encrypted 
.ZIP files, similar to the way that Declude Virus does.  That way, you can 
let all normal .ZIP files through (if people have a legitimate need to send 
encrypted .ZIP files, they can rename them).
