Is this true on all versions of IMail or just 8.??
It should be true with all versions of IMail.
We are still running an old version as it has been working well and we hate to change it. But I am sure we have multiple DNS entries.
If the DNS servers are good -- they all work as expected, and don't have problems with crashing, etc. -- you should be OK.
The biggest problem is when the first one listed works as expected, but the second one doesn't allow recursion (and therefore can't be used with a mailserver). Everything will seem to work fine for a long time, until one day the first DNS server can't be reached temporarily. IMail tries the second one, which doesn't report back an MX record. IMail tries the first one, which is back online, and it reports an A record, which gets used. It's rare, but can happen.
