I may have answered my own question. Seems this customer's domain has expired, that
would make is sending address invalid.

Thanks Anyway.

Mike

Subject: [IMail Forum] Unknown user issue

I have a customer that is sending to a user at the Comcast domain. When I - or the
customer - send to this user from the customer's account, we get a bounce saying
unknown user. However, the Comcast user says he's getting mail from other folks just
fine. Also, when I send to him using a different mail server the message seems to go
through. Below is the log excerpt from one transaction. Notice Comcast responds with
a "550 [PERMFAIL] comcast.net requires valid sender" even though the sender and the
recipient addresses are both valid. Any ideas? I know 550 is generally a relay issue
but I don't see what is invalid about this. Of course Comcast is telling the user
that the mail is never even reaching their server. Go figure.
