Based on earlier discussion on this list the dns cache in IMail is disabled.
It has not been active for a long time..

I have also cleared our DNS server cache and nothing has changed.

If fiddling with the DNS makes a change I would keep troubleshooting in that
area. How about flushing/disabling the dns cache in Imail?
