One thing I've seen done is to edit the webmail skin - put a piece of javascript on the button that disables/greys out the "Send" button once it's been pressed, then performs the send action that the button would have done. Obviously, you can't press the button a second time, because it's disabled... Clive Williams

Subject: [IMail Forum] Multiple messages!!
Hello,
I am currently running I-mail server 8.X (current) in a school environment.
I have about 3200 users and we only allow the students to check the mail via the
webmail (not pop3). Our problem is that when the students compose a message they will
click send 50-100 times. This causes many problems. The recipient receives all 50+
messages and the mail box fills up. Or multiple students do this at the same time and
we get 5000 messages in the que (in 5-10 minutes) and the server locks up.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to restrict the users to only 1 click? Or is
there a way to set a quota on messages per minute? Or Anything??
Thank You,
Chad
