Well... The problem is there are 2800+ lines with that timestamp (03:27 14:26), and the way imail logs the authentication line (different smtp id, no ip stamp), there's no sure way to see "which" smtp auth corresponds to the smtp send requests. It's possible somehow they guess or hacked and auth id, but how would they get the correct login/password? And how would I verify that smtp auth corresponds to the smtp send requests? Perhaps I'm missing something? > have this IP in the Control Access list as trusted? Perhpas > you have the Control Access list set backwards. The network in question is not entered in "treat as local". Configuration is set to "relay mail for addresses", with only physically attatched networks in the acl. All others require smtp authentication (hence the "550 not local host trusontechnologies.com, not a gateway" returned when attempting to relay). > It can be set for Allow all but the IPs listed or Refuse all > but the IPs listed. In any case you are missing some of the logs. Well, I didn't provide the entire log as it's 200mb :) To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
