Yeah, I ve restarted all of the services a couple of times. I m a bit lost at this point. I e-mailed IMail support but haven t received an answer back yet.
The 10048 code indicates that something else is indeed using the port IMail is trying to bind to (UDP port 514 in this case).
I would recommend rebooting, in case something went wrong with the syslogd service the first time you tried to start it (in which case a reboot might be necessary).
