Might also scan it for viruses.. perhaps there is a trojan running on that port.. ?

I upgraded to 8.05 and now my syslog isn't working. All it says is: SYSLOGD 8.05, Copyright C 1994-2001, Ipswitch, Inc. Bind error 10048 The only issue in the KB that looks similar is one about having more than one SMTP instance running (Windows service + IMail service). That's not the case here. I also don't have anything I know of operating on 514 UDP (syslog) besides IMail syslogd. Any ideas?
