I know quite of few people had concerns for the migratin of the actual mailbox files. Maybe search on something like "exchange" ".mbx formt" or something similar. You will also want to research MX pririoty and setting you DNS records prior to migration.
Also, Ipswitch has just released version 8.1. This is about 2-3 days old. It is still rolling out to most places as that what most of the people on this list aredoing today - upgrades. There have been some hitches, so maybe best to wait until those bugs are worked out. I would suggest you start with 8.05 HF2. New features you will see in Imail not in Exchange 5.5 include anti-spam and extreme ease of adminitration in comparison. Things you will not see are shared calendars, and address books in Outllokk or any other client. However, in the web messaging format Iwith CWM templated (bundled with 8.1) you *do* have a shared address book. Ipswitch has said that within the next month that add-ons will be available to add shared calendars and addressbooks to the Outlook line of clients. I hope this helps.
