...the  most  common  way to transfer PSTs to MBXs is to drag-and-drop
into  an  IMAP account on the IMail server. Your assumption is correct
that there is no IS-to-MBX direct conversion.

However,  what you must ask yourself, as I mentioned to another poster
earlier  today, is how much mail you (and your client) expect IMail to
handle  _on the server_, rather than simply storing it in PSTs on your
client.  The mbox format, even with IMail's proprietary indices, is no
relational db, and IMAP, especially IMail's IMAP4D, is no MAPI.
